Job Description

MSA Hospice of the Upstate , a proud member of the Medical Services of America family, is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time MSW for our Hospice location in Greenville (Greenville, Oconee, Pickens, Anderson) SC.

  • Provides social work services in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
  • Works with the interdisciplinary team directly, or through coordination of team members, to provide appropriate assessment and support patients and families.
  • Provides assessment for normal and complicated grief and provides bereavement counseling as appropriate.
  • Serves as a liaison with other community resources.


Job Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's level social work degree from a school of social work accredited or approved by the Council of Social Work Education.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a social worker in the state of SC.
  • Minimum of one-year Hospice experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
