We are seeking a Medical Records/Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering phones, assisting patient check-in at the front desk, scheduling appointments, and the general organization and maintenance of patient records. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones for scheduling, medical records and general information
- Assist at the front desk with patient check-in, preparing patient information
- Follow all procedures in the accurate maintenance of patient records
- Ensure all patient paperwork is completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner
- File patient medical records and information via computer entry
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient medical records and information
- Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned
- Previous experience as a Medical Records/Receptionist/Scheduler or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and administrative processes
- Familiarity with information management programs, Microsoft Office, and other computer programs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
