Position Overview: The Member Experience Specialist will be a key player in driving membership sales and ensuring top-notch customer service within our gym. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for all gym visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Sales: Proactively engage with prospective members to understand their fitness goals and offer tailored membership options. Conduct tours of the facility, explain membership benefits, and close sales.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to existing members by addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. Handle membership inquiries, process requests, and follow up on member feedback.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage membership database CRM to drive sales, process new member registrations, renewals, and cancellations. Maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions.
- Promotion and Marketing: Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and special offers. Assist in organizing events and activities to attract and retain members.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the gym is clean, organized, and welcoming. Report any facility issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a fitness environment is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attitude: Enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated with a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency and experience with membership management software is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
