Memphis, TN - 4 Conveyor Cleaners (little mechanical) $32/HR $100PD at Summit Skilled Solutions / MCM

Position Overview

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking four (4) Conveyor Cleaners / Mechanically Inclined Laborers to assist with a warehouse maintenance project in Memphis, TN. This role involves disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling Sorter Slabs used in a conveyor sorting system. While the primary focus is on cleaning, candidates with basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with conveyor or sorter systems will be preferred.

You will be working alongside DCI personnel who will provide direction and oversight throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sorter slab components.
• Perform detailed cleaning of conveyor equipment and surrounding work areas.
• Safely handle tools and cleaning materials according to company standards.
• Follow instructions from DCI onsite leads and Summit Skilled Solutions management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all site safety rules and procedures.

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime or weekend work may be required later in the project).
• Duration: Approximately 3 weeks.
• Work Environment: Active warehouse facility.

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $32/hour
• Per Diem (if applicable): $100/day (available for qualified travelers, 7 days per week)
• Travel Pay: Not available

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience with warehouse maintenance, conveyor systems, or mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Local candidates preferred; however, proven and dependable travelers will be considered.
