Job Description
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Active Oregon licensure or associate registration:
- LPC / LPC-Associate
- LCSW / CSWA
- LMFT / LMFT-Associate
- Eligibility for CareOregon / OHP credentialing (must hold or be able to obtain within onboarding period).
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults, youth, or families.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, EMDR, or equivalent modalities.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and OAR 309-019 standards.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy for EHR use and telehealth delivery.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Provide psychotherapy, including individual and group counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR (preferred), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Facilitate crisis intervention sessions to support clients in acute distress and develop effective coping strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including mental health and SUD peer support specialists—to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of all records.
- Participate in reflective supervision and case consultation to support clinical growth and uphold quality of care.
- Offer specialized counseling services for diverse populations, including children, families, individuals experiencing trauma, grief, addiction, or cultural adjustment.
