Mental Health Counselor at Modern Care Collective
Job Description
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Flexible | In-Person
Work Remotely: Yes (LCSW only)
At Modern Care Collective, we believe therapy should be accessible, inclusive, and deeply supportive. Our mission is to make mental health care approachable for everyone through personalized care plans that meet each client’s unique needs—from self-management tools and coaching to therapy.
Founded by two Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and proud FAU alumni, Modern Care Collective is built by clinicians, for clinicians. Both co-founders are certified to supervise Registered Clinical Social Work Interns (RCSWIs), offering a supportive and collaborative environment for emerging professionals to grow their skills and confidence.
What our providers love about working with us:
- 🧠 Grow your caseload: Get matched with clients based on your clinical focus and interests.
- ⏰ Flexible scheduling: Choose how many clients you see and set a schedule that fits your lifestyle with a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- 💻 Admin support included: We handle all insurance billing, benefits verification, and paperwork—so you can focus on therapy, not admin tasks.
- 💵 Weekly direct deposit: Enjoy reliable, consistent pay every week.
- 🧍♀️ Supervision and mentorship: Learn directly from experienced LCSWs in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Our dedicated care coordination team provides live, customized support to both clinicians and clients. We help clients navigate their care seamlessly, ensuring that:
- Insurance benefits are verified instantly and automatically.
- Access to care is never delayed.
- You can focus on delivering high-quality therapy with confidence.
Located in the heart of East Boca Raton, Modern Care Collective offers a cozy, professional office space designed to create a calm, welcoming environment for you and your clients.
To join our growing community, you must:
- Hold Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) or Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) status in the state of Florida.
- Have specialized experience and/or strong interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, providing affirming, culturally competent care.
- Have (or be willing to obtain with our support):
- NPI number
- CAQH profile
- Malpractice insurance
- Clinical experience in a supportive, modern practice.
- Supervision hours toward LCSW licensure.
- Professional growth within a collaborative, mission-driven team.
- A chance to help build a more connected and accessible mental health system.
Modern Care Collective is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
