Starting out in the field can be exciting - and overwhelming. The idea of private practice might sound appealing, but billing, insurance, and marketing can feel like a whole second job.

That’s where A New Hope Therapy Center comes in. We offer the freedom and flexibility of private practice with the support and mentorship of a team. You’ll build a steady caseload (around 25 clients when full-time) while we take care of the administrative side - verifying benefits, scheduling intakes, and managing insurance billing - so you can focus on what really matters: your clients.

Our therapists integrate creative and evidence-based approaches - including art therapy, movement and dance, geek and gaming therapy, and play therapy - to meet clients where they are. We love curiosity, authenticity, and lifelong learning.

About the Role

We’re seeking passionate mental health therapists to join our growing team. Positions are available for both W2 employees and independent contractors, with flexibility for in-person and hybrid schedules.

You’ll provide therapy for individuals, families, and groups; conduct assessments; create treatment plans; and work closely with a collaborative clinical team that values consultation and growth.

Ideal Candidates

• Hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
• Are licensed or pursuing licensure in New Mexico (LMHC, LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent)
• Are eager to learn and open to ongoing supervision and professional development
• Bring compassion, creativity, and strong ethical standards to their work
• Value inclusivity, representation, and culturally responsive care
• Are comfortable (or willing to learn) using an electronic health record system
