Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
- Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support
- Collect data and monitor client progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness
Qualifications
- MUST BE LICENSED
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Current state licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults
- Knowledge of diagnostic criteria and ability to conduct thorough assessments
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and risk assessment protocols
- Strong clinical counseling skills with a focus on evidence-based practices
- Ability to provide effective behavioral therapy and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and scheduling
