In This Role
- Develop and execute brand assortment plans in partnership with Merchandising Leadership and Product Development for assigned categories
- Drive sales growth by identifying assortment gaps and analyzing market trends
- Conduct competitive market analysis to inform assortment decisions and enhance product positioning
- Partner with Buying and Planning department on new item forecasting, markdown strategies, and inventory management
- Support pricing decisions with a strong understanding of product margin strategies
- Provide detailed product performance reporting and actionable insights to leadership
- Foster strong partnerships with Product Development and Buying and Planning
- Actively contribute to departmental and category initiatives to support growth
- Monitor and respond to evolving market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate product and pricing data for assigned categories
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
- 4+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or equivalent roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising or related field
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools
- Understanding of pricing strategy and margin optimization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
