About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Foreman-Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced aluminum smelting and alloying facility. This role is critical to ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing leadership and a solid understanding of metal processing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of production workers in smelting, casting, and alloying operations.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all team members are trained and equipped to work safely.
• Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they understand procedures and expectations.
• Monitor production processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Assign tasks and manage workflow to meet production schedules and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, employee performance, and operational data.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Step in to manage operations during supervisor absences, maintaining productivity and team cohesion.
• Conduct incident investigations and report property damage or safety concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in metals or materials processing.
• Strong understanding of aluminum smelting, casting, or alloying processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team environment.
• Proficient in basic computer systems and production tracking tools.
