Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests' dining experience memorable. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service. $14 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Take orders, and deliver food and drinks to guests while they are in the dining area
  • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
  • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service
  • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift
