Morning News Producer at Sinclair Broadcast Group

We have an immediate opening for a creative News Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our early morning newscasts. You will also work closely with the Executive Producer and Morning Anchors for a “New, Now, Next” approach to our 5am and 6am newscasts. We're looking for the right candidate with the following skills: Solid news judgment Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage time on an overnight shift Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems, such as iNews Experience: Must have news producing experience at a commercial or university TV station, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered A journalism degree is required EEO AND INCLUSIVITY: Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
