MOTOR EQUIPMENT REPAIRMAN
WORCESTER POLICE DEPARTMENT
CITY OF WORCESTER
The Worcester Police Department seeks applicants interested in the full-time position of Motor Equipment Repairman. Typical duties include repair and maintenance functions, in a garage setting, on a wide variety of municipal vehicles including motorcycles, automobiles, and trucks. This position also performs repair work on non-automotive equipment, including but not limited to power mowers, pumps, and air compressors. Prior professional experience as a mechanic is required.
Full uniform service provided free of charge. Receive $150 annual boot allowance. Additional stipends available for select ASE certifications. Employees in this classification are eligible for overtime.
Starting salary: $31.63 - $38.57 per hour, full-time employment opportunity, with an excellent benefits package.
