Hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in Newark, DE

Up to $38/hour!

The Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician will work at a manufacturing facility, performing preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on limiting downtime by troubleshooting PLC systems and performing a variety of electrical and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct reactive maintenance during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and execute electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Complete daily checklists and perform walk-arounds.
• Create work orders based on findings during inspections.

Essential Skills

• Electrical maintenance
• Mechanical maintenance
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in PLC troubleshooting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical License highly preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience as an electro-mechanical technician
• High mechanical aptitude and experience
• Ability to troubleshoot, think critically, and work well within a team
• Welding/Fabrication experience is a plus

Work Environment

The facility is well-organized, and renovations are underway to update the main entrance and bathrooms. Candidates should have flexibility to work both day and night shifts, starting on the night shift after training on the day shift (4 PM - 2:30 AM).
