Position Summary: The Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina seeks qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position in the area of Stroke and Vascular Neurology. The preferred candidate will be BC/BE in both Neurology and Vascular Neurology with interest in pursuing a career in academic medicine. This individual will join the team of Vascular Neurologists overseeing acute stroke care at the UNC Medical Center. While on-service, this individual will oversee resident-staffed acute stroke teams and an inpatient stroke service, with active support from Emergency Medicine, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, Neurointerventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Physical Medicine
