Austin Neuromuscular Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative Neuromuscular Physician . This full-time role is perfect for a fellowship-trained physician who enjoys a fast-paced, academic-leaning clinical environment and is passionate about patient-centered care. You will work alongside a team of nationally recognized experts in neuromuscular medicine, using state-of-the-art diagnostics and contributing to clinical innovation. Pay Range $250,000 $350,000 base salary , commensurate with experience, training, and qualifications. Productivity and research incentives available. Final salary offer will be based on the candidate s relevant experience, skill set, board certification status, and academic/research background. Our practice brings together clinical expertise, advanced diagnostics, and compassionate care to serve patients across Central Texas and beyond. We are proud to be one of the few centers in the region dedicated solely to neuromuscular medicine, offering comprehensive, personalized treatment plans in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of neuromuscular conditions including ALS, CIDP, myasthenia gravis, myopathies, muscular dystrophies, and peripheral neuropathies Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG, NCS) Conduct and interpret muscle, nerve, and skin biopsies Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care Develop and regularly update individualized care plans Provide ongoing care and disease progression monitoring for patients with chronic neuromuscular disorders Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatments, and expectations Facilitate access to clinical trials, support services, and assistive technologies Contribute to clinical research and scholarly activity, including data collection and publication Collaborate with UT Dell Medical School on teaching and academic initiatives Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements Participate in internal meetings, CME activities, and academic conferences EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Required MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completed ACGME-accredited fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine Board certified or board eligible in Neurology Eligible for Texas medical licensure Preferred Clinical experience in neuromuscular medicine Interest in clinical research or teaching Familiarity with Athena EMR Spanish language proficiency (not required) EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK The core hours of work are Monday Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require some evening or weekend remote work depending on call rotation. https://austinneuromuscle.com/
