Job Description




Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead weekly customer communications to provide status updates, manage expectations, and address technical inquiries.
  • Represent Micron professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring clear, concise, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring tooling builds and milestones are met.
  • Assess manufacturing feasibility for new products and processes.
  • Create detailed Statements of Work (SOW) for all new projects.
  • Facilitate PFMEA reviews with internal teams and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) for tooling and equipment to be installed at Micron.
  • Analyze customer part prints to confirm manufacturability and tolerance compliance.
  • Support validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), analyze data using Minitab, and prepare reports for customers.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to develop and document molding processes.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and documentation, reporting regularly to the Engineering Manager.
  • Finalize and release all project documentation for production readiness.
  • Provide production support to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support project success.

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in plastics, tooling, or manufacturing engineering
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
    • Experience with SolidWorks preferred
    • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices
    • Experience with Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools
