Find your calling at Mercy! The Nurse Navigator is nursing specialist who follows patients across the continuum of care. The Navigator coordinates with an advanced level of clinical expertise, all aspects of treatment and care for, and in collaboration with, Mercy's patients, their family and significant others, physicians, interdisciplinary team, and other support staff. This specialist performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and with Mercy Signature Service standards. Position Details: Qualifications: Required Education: Graduate from a school of nursing is required. Preferred Education: Advanced Practice/master's degree in nursing is preferred. Required Experience: 2 years nursing experience is required. Preferred Experience: Formal patient education and community educational presentations, Support group facilitation Licensure: Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in state of practice is required. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days of hire is required. Why Mercy?
