Nursing Medical Billing Specialist at Staffmark Group
Job Description
Are you an experienced healthcare billing professional looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow? We're seeking a Skilled Nursing Billing Specialist to join a dedicated team supporting a large, well-established healthcare organization in the Gibsonia area.
This role is ideal for someone with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing expertise who enjoys a detail-oriented environment, working collaboratively, and contributing to the financial accuracy of patient care services. The position works on site Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
What You'll Do

Manage insurance billing and follow-up for Medicare Part A and Part B claims

Verify insurance coverage for Skilled Nursing and Home Health services

Support Medicaid billing and follow-up (experience preferred)

Perform daily census reconciliation, aging report management, and month-end closing processes

Enter and maintain accurate diagnosis codes and facility charges

Post private pay receipts, insurance remittances, and refunds

Process OME (Other Medical Expenses) and Representative Payee forms

Manage Resident Trust Accounts and handle miscellaneous billing (e.g., ambulance invoices)

Apply knowledge of RUG and PDPM methodologies and Consolidated Billing
What You Bring

Minimum 2 years of Skilled Nursing billing experience (required)

Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Home Health, or Hospice billing

Proficiency in RUG/PDPM systems and understanding of billing compliance requirements

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
