Occupational Medicine physician employment in Maryland : Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform baseline and periodic medical qualification and surveillance exams based on unique job code or work task hazard. - Order immunizations and chemoprophylaxis prescriptions; orders and interprets lab tests, audiograms, chest x-rays, electrocardiograms, and spirometry necessary for medical surveillance or determination of medical qualification. - Evaluate ability to perform essential job functions for continued work, return to work, or in response to request for reasonable accommodation. - Serve as Occupational Medicine consultant supporting MTF policy revision and clinical decision support.
