Position Summary: The Department of Ophthalmology at UNC – Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time open rank oculoplastic/orbital surgeon. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: MD or DO required. Candidates for this position should have completed a 12-24 month post-residency fellowship training in oculoplastic/orbital surgery. Requirements include graduation from an approved ophthalmic residency training program and satisfactory completion of a fellowship. Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina is required. Excellent training in surgery of the orbit is necessary. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: The successful candidate must have excellent clinical Involves patient care. Campus Security Authority Responsibilities: Not Applicable.
