Position Summary:
The fast-paced, busy medical office needs an experienced full-time office support/registration individual who will support our Bedford Counseling Associates and Medication Services Programs. The individual is responsible for opening the office daily in preparation for receiving patients. Performs a wide range of tasks associated with meet and greet activity utilizing an electronic medical record for face-to-face and doxy check-ins, verifying demographic information, collecting co-pays, preparing daily deposits, processing paperwork associated with each task, and answering phones. Prior office and computer experience is a must. Candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented with the capacity to multi-task and work as a member of a team. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 to 4:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Requirements:Qualifications: Computer experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience with an Electronic Medical Record preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have excellent communication skills, an ability to multi-task, data entry proficiency, attention to detail, and confidentiality a must.
Education: The position requires a minimum of a High School diploma.
Experience: Three-plus years of office experience is a plus.
