We are seeking a hard-working individual to join our team!

Job Description:

• Operates different offset printing presses to produce various types of printed products.
• Reviews job requirements to understand the scope and parameters of the print job.
• Prepares, aligns, and configures machinery, ink, rollers, and sheet stock.
• Inspects set-up of printed sheets to evaluate the quality of printing and gets approval if needed.
• Adjusts the press to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Inspects printed products throughout the run for quality issues.
• Maintains inventory of inks and other supplies as needed.
• Troubleshoots issues with the offset presses and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on presses.
• Informs manager/supervisor of problems with equipment or materials.
• Enters daily production totals using ADC and turns in a signed time sheet to manager.
• Ensures all production goals for each job are met.
• Maintains a safe work environment by observing all safety regulations.
• Keeps waste and spoilage to a minimum and within company standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Ability to operate various types of offset presses.
• Follow instructions
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Basic math and computer skills

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school training preferred.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Physical requirements:

• Physically able to operate various offset presses
• Prolonged periods of standing during machine operation
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to bend, squat, or kneel.

Pay: Based on experience.
