PositionSummary: Lead, innovate, and manage employee newhires and third-party independent network enrollees to provide asuccessful transition into working with Leaf Home. This includesownership of 1099 and W2 pre-hire onboarding process and post-hiresupport. Act as a candidate ambassador to provide an exemplary endto end onboarding experience.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
· Drivingend to end new hire and independent contractor onboardinglifecycles setting people up for success throughcommunication/educational campaigns, efficient onboardingprocesses, and programs to infuse company knowledge into theirroles.
· Identify and design innovativeand efficient solutions to improve our relationship with employeesand third-party contractors and their experience throughout theirfull lifecycle
· Lead Onboarding team toensure efficient onboarding of new employees and 1099 contractors ·Work with hiring managers to ensure readiness for new employeesfirst day
· Identify Onboarding gapsthrough surveys and new hire focus groups along with setting keycheckpoints in the worker lifecycle
·Design and lead orientation program for new employees and hiringmanagers · Provide additional support after new hires completeorientation program including established check-inmilestones
· Collaborate with IT, HRIS,TA, L&D to identify onboarding challenges and processimprovement
· Present onboarding progressand/or KPIs to key business unit leaders on regularbasis
· Audit/Review existing W2/1099onboarding documents consistently (Policies, Handbooks, COIs,Workers Comp, Exemptions etc.)
·Participate in projects related to recruiting process andtechnology, onboarding, etc.
Experience and MinimumQualifications:
·Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination ofeducation, training, and experience.
· 5+years of relevant experience in employee onboarding within humanresources or talent acquisition at enterprise level
· Experience designing and executing an end-to-endemployee onboarding process to improve engagement, satisfaction,and efficiency
· Prior experience in programmanagement to build and scale enterprise onboardingprograms
· Ability to juggle various workactivities and shift their attention from one task to another tomeet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping theball”.
· Ability to thrive in afast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “rollup your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow”mentality.
· Apply active listening skillsthrough the ability to comprehend information presented and respondthoughtfully.
· Detail-oriented and canfocus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding themost efficient and effective pathway to completion.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills arerequired for communicating with internal and external parties in amanner that is both articulate and professional.
· Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize andevaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solvecomplex problems, and engage in reflection.
· Ability to provide timely and empathetic help throughin-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps theco-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of everyinteraction.
· Ability to communicateeffectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one’s ownemotions as well as others, and foster positive workingrelationships across all levels of theorganization.
· Holding oneselfresponsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals,adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions,performance, and decisions.
· Must belegally authorized to work in country of employment withoutsponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1Bstatus).
Preferred Knowledge,Skills, Abilities or Certifications: · Priormanagement experience · Prior experience in public companyenvironment and associated compliance/audit requirements
Travel Requirements: ·Occasional overnight travel required.
