We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help us strengthen our foundation, lead our teams, and prepare for future expansion.
The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of café operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance, strong financial results, and a cohesive brand experience. This role combines operational leadership with marketing management to drive both efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across both café locations, ensuring consistency in service, product quality, and brand standards.
- Develop and implement operational systems, processes, and best practices to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Manage vendor relationships, ordering, and inventory controls to optimize cost and reduce waste.
- Supervise and support café managers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Financial Management
- Monitor and analyze P&L statements, labor costs, and COGS to meet revenue and margin goals.
- Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth through operational improvements.
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute local marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and community events to increase traffic and sales.
- Manage social media presence, digital marketing, and brand storytelling in collaboration with ownership or external partners.
- Track marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies for maximum ROI.
- Ensure all marketing aligns with the café’s brand identity and customer experience.
Team Development & Culture
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff across both locations.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that reflects the company’s values.
- Implement recognition and incentive programs to drive engagement and accountability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in multi-unit café, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and drive profitability.
- Experience with marketing strategy, social media management, or local brand promotion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
