Founded in 1985 , Fairfax Oral Maxillofacial Surgery is the premier oral surgery group in Northern Virginia. We are a 100% privately owned and operated , multi-location practice offering the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our surgeons work collaboratively, supported by experienced staff and a strong community presence. We have offices in Alexandria, Burke, Centreville, Reston, and Woodbridge. We are seeking a motivated surgeon who values collaboration, quality outcomes, and the long-term rewards of partnership in a respected, growth-oriented practice. Compensation Benefits Base Guarantee (Year 1): $400,000 guaranteed base salary (paid biweekly) Collection-Based Compensation (Year 2): Average earning potential: $600,000 $1M+ Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 Continuing Education: $5,000 annual allowance for CE/CME Insurance Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage Professional liability/malpractice insurance (OMSNIC) Paid licensure, DEA, and professional dues Retirement Plan: 401(k) with employer match plus profit-sharing eligibility Paid Time Off: 4 weeks of paid vacation (1 week CE), in addition to holidays Path to Partnership After two years of successful practice with FOMS, you will be eligible for equity partnership. Buy-in terms are based on fair market value and can be structured flexibly to support long-term ownership. Support for Surgeons We believe every surgeon should be able to focus on patient care and professional growth. To help new doctors thrive from day one, our practice provides comprehensive in-house support across all key operational areas: Billing Insurance: Dedicated in house billing specialists. Marketing Referral Relations: In-house marketing team actively promotes surgeon visibility, manages digital presence, and builds referral relationships. Operating Room Coordination: OR coordinator assists with scheduling, hospital privileges, and surgical logistics to streamline complex case management. Administrative Support: Experienced front and back-office staff, as well as practice administrators, handle scheduling, patient coordination, and compliance. Our robust infrastructure allows new surgeons to integrate seamlessly into the practice, focus on clinical excellence, and build a strong patient base quickly.
