Our client, a well-regarded mental health practice based in Torrington, CT, is actively seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician or Therapist to join their growing team. This clinician-led organization takes a modern, holistic approach to care—addressing the mental, physical, and social needs of patients through personalized treatment in outpatient settings. Candidates will work with a diverse patient population and have access to the tools and support they need to deliver meaningful care and see tangible outcomes. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will be an independently licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Connecticut) who is passionate about providing effective therapy and treatment for individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes one-on-one therapy, group sessions, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management, all tailored to the specific needs of each patient. Key Responsibilities: Build strong therapeutic relationships and coordinate care with other professionals as needed Conduct psychiatric assessments and manage medication plans Utilize evidence-based treatment methods, including CBT and DBT Support the development of graduate students through training and mentorship Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed Participate in community education and outreach efforts Maintain thorough clinical documentation and electronic health records (using platforms like Athena or similar) Requirements: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related counseling field Active, unrestricted licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of post-master’s clinical experience Skilled in providing therapy to individuals and families Proficient in EHR systems and digital communication tools Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range: $58,300 to $114,300, depending on experience, education, and credentials Comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, 401(k) contributions, and performance incentives Opportunities for professional growth and advancement This is a great opportunity for clinicians looking to join a progressive practice that values innovation, compassion, and clinical autonomy.
