Position Summary We are seeking an experienced General Labor for our client close to Decatur, AL. You will perform a variety This position supports the paint line production by performing non-painting skills such as hanging and removing parts from the line you may train to be a painter. Responsibilities Pick up parts from pallet, extend arms up to reach paint line hooks and hang parts on the paint line. Visually inspect painted parts for adequate paint coverage and damage. Remove painted parts from paint line and stack onto a pallet. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions. Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements. Ability to work with chemicals, solvents and lubricants. Maintain work area in clean orderly condition, performs preventative maintenance and follows prescribed safety procedures. Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing. Requirements Ability to perform essential duties Must be able to read and understand work orders and routers High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school. Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and work occasional overtime. Steel-toed boots required. Must pass background & drug screening. Schedule & Pay Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
