Seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching. Must have three years of experience in the legal field with a degree or certificate.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach Legal Assistant and Paralegal Studies courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisor
- Prepare and grade written and practical examinations
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College
- Dress professionally in accordance with the faculty dress code
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Legal Assistant and Paralegal Studies Instructor Experience
- REQUIRED:
- Minimum of three years of non-overlapping experience in the legal field with a Paralegal Studies degree or a degree in a related field or
- Minimum of three years of non-overlapping experience in the legal field with completion of a Paralegal Studies training program (can be diploma-level if it covers the same topic areas as NCC) PLUS a degree.
- Nevada State Law experience

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
