Position: Paralegal

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. Our practice focuses on personal injury, civil litigation, and wills and probate matters, with occasional work in other areas of law. Some prior experience in these specific areas is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organize, and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct basic legal research and gather information to assist with case preparation.
• Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Help coordinate discovery, including organizing documents and scheduling meetings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and other parties.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and general case management.
• Track important deadlines and maintain case calendars.

Qualifications:

• Some prior experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or wills/probate matters is required.
• Paralegal certification or relevant experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional legal environment.
