This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.

Assist Colgate’s track & field and cross country programs at practices and competitions. Job duties include but are not limited to skill instruction.
Responsible for execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within assigned sport or area. These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas:
• Adhere to Head Coach’s philosophy
• Athletic instruction/coaching
• Program operations and administration as designated by Head Coach 
Responsible for role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes.
1-3 years experience coaching or participation in track & field and/or cross country. 
A current valid driver’s license, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, is required.
4+ years experience coaching or participation in track & field and/or cross country
Education:Bachelor’s degree is required.
