The Part-Time Music Coach/Accompanist will serve as coach/accompanist in the Music, Theater and Dance Department. This individual must demonstrate an advanced level of performing and proficiency as a pianist and accompanist.
What you will be doing- Accompanies private music lessons and/or classes
- Coaches and accompanies music students
- Participates in and accompanies student juries and recitals
- Accompanies rehearsals and performances
- Participates in and accompanies auditions
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated experience as a professional musician and/or educational credential in accompanying, and/or at least two (2) years experience in accompanying in the area of interest
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Experience coaching and accompanying advanced instrumental and vocal students, including in-depth knowledge of repertoire, historical and stylistic expertise
