The Part Time Tutor Coordinator provides leadership development and training resources for tutors.

What you will be doing

Provides organizational support and establishes strong communication with on-site tutorsIdentifies training needs for tutorsTracks tutor and student attendanceTrains and mentors tutorsProvides student progress reportsCollaborates with disciplines and departments as needed to provide servicesPerform other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possesses good interpersonal skills
• Possesses excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
• Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
