We specialize in crafting high-quality baked goods using premium, locally sourced ingredients while fostering meaningful opportunities for adults with emotional or intellectual challenges.
As a mission-driven non-profit, we are currently seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who not only excels in the kitchen but is also passionate about making a positive social impact. We’re looking for a dedicated professional who values both excellence in pastry and the empowerment of individuals in vulnerable communities.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a scratch pastry kitchen
Solid knowledge of viennoiserie production, including lamination techniques, preferred
Proficiency in making classic fillings such as pastry cream, fruit curds, jams, gels, caramel, and meringues
A current food handler certification (or ability to obtain one within 15 days of hire)
Availability to work one weekend day per week
Willingness to start shifts as early as 4:00 AM
