Patient Care Front Desk Specialist (Must be Bilingual in English & Spanish)
***Part-Time** or **Full-Time**
Must have at least 1 year experience with medical billing or medical front desk operations
Lawrenceville, GA | $17–$22.00/hr + Performance Bonuses
No Weekends 

Full-Time Option: 40 hour work-week, no weekends; Health Insurance + 401(k) with Employer Match
Part-Time Option: 20 - 30 hours per week, Ideal for rising students with flexibility to work on the following days Monday (7am - 12p), Tuesday (10am - 7pm), Thursday(10am - 7pm) & Friday (8am - 2pm).

The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented Patient Care Front Desk Specialist to manage patient scheduling, coordinate care, and provide supportive wellness check-ins.   • Handle patient scheduling, appointments, multi-phone line
  • Gather new patient data; keep track of all patient referrals
  • Disseminate information to patients; act as a go-between for patients and physicians  
  • Send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors
  • Collect all payments; insurance verification
  • Collect/open mail; distribute mail to proper areas/people
  • Send benefits paperwork to billing companies
  • Handle all scheduling and ensuing communication
  • Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, answer any questions from potential or current patients
  • Schedule patients; coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders and cancellations
  • Collect new patient intake information; track all clinic referrals
  • Fax reports to physicians; keep a log of incoming reports
  • Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits; take copayments
  • Check mail; keep track of Explanation of Benefits sent from mail and fax to billing company
  • Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival
Required Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) - REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Great communicator and multitasker, detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic, integrity and empathetic toward people that are in pain 
  • H.S. graduate or GED certificate
  • Up-to-date DL and a dependable vehicle
  • Excellent at handling details, communicating and multitasking
  • Great demeanor, strong integrity and compassion
