We are looking for a Patient Registration Representative to join our dynamic Emergency Department team in Litchfield, Arizona. In this Patient Registration Representative position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and check-in process for patients, while providing exceptional customer service. The Patient Registration Representative role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a background in healthcare or patient registration.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient registration and check-in processes for individuals arriving at the Emergency Department.

• Verify insurance coverage and accurately collect required patient information.

• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient and family concerns effectively.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency during high-volume periods.

• Ensure the accuracy of data entry and maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Process copayments and deductibles when applicable.

• Provide support to the emergency department team to enhance patient care.

• Utilize electronic health record systems to manage patient information and registration.

• Adapt to the dynamic nature of the emergency department and contribute to team goals.

• At least one year of experience in healthcare insurance verification.
• A minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in accurate data entry.
• Experience with emergency department registration is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekend and weekday shifts, including occasional overtime.
