Vienna Family Medicine is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, insurance verification, patient scheduling and customer service. This role will support both front desk operations and call center functions, ensuring patients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate service.
- Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments accurately based on provider availability and patient needs.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and knowledge of healthcare insurance plans.
- Handle of high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Process payments and provide billing support as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications --
Minimum 1-2 years experience in healthcare administrative role (front desk, call center, or similar).
Proficient in patient scheduling systems and electronic medical records.
Strong understanding of insurance plans, including verification.
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
