The Town of Livermore Falls is seeking a *driven and experienced Patrol Sergeant* to join our Police Department. *Position Requirements*

* Minimum of *three years full-time law enforcement experience*
* Must be a *fully accredited Blue Pin police officer in good standing* in the State of Maine, or able to obtain certification within *one year of employment*
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and foster team development

*Role Responsibilities*

* Supervise personnel and oversee assigned divisions
* Perform administrative tasks including case reviews, documentation, and policy input
* Work closely with the *Chief of Police* to develop and enhance departmental policies and procedures
* Provide leadership and feedback as part of the department’s ongoing transformation and collaborative change process

*Department Structure*

* 1 Chief of Police
* 2 Patrol Sergeants
* 4 Patrol Officers

Each Patrol Sergeant will oversee *two patrol officers* as part of their team. Patrol officers are currently overseen by the Chief of Police. Once full staffing is achieved, Patrol Sergeants will also have the opportunity to serve in a *part-time detective capacity*, handling complex cases, conducting interviews, and reviewing unresolved investigations.

The department issues *new equipment*, including *state-of-the-art less-lethal and lethal devices (Taser 10)*, new pistols, and new patrol rifles, ensuring officers are equipped with the latest tools to serve and protect effectively.

*Years of Patrol Experience* *2025 Hourly Rate:*

1 Year of patrol: $34.97/hr.

2 Years of patrol: $35.64/hr.

4 Years of patrol: $36.31/hr.

6 Years of patrol: $36.98/hr.

8 Years of patrol: $37.65/hr.

10 Years of patrol: $38.33/hr.

12 Years of patrol: $39.01/hr.
