Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Salary $70,000 - $80,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to Mississippi

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Payroll Excellence: Master the entire payroll process to ensure all plant employees are compensated accurately and on time, maintaining meticulous records and data integrity.
  • Innovate Benefits Strategy: Proactively research and analyze market trends, partnering with insurance brokers to design a cutting-edge benefits program that remains competitive, compliant, and tailored to our team's needs.
  • Drive Employee Well-being: Take charge of administering our comprehensive employee programs, including retirement plans, leave policies, wellness initiatives, and life, health, and disability insurance.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the HR and finance teams, leveraging your expertise to ensure seamless data reporting and processing within our software systems.
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Implement and manage tracking systems for payroll and insurance invoices and conduct monthly audits to maintain impeccable billing accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on payroll and benefits administration.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all departments.
  • A results-driven mindset and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Experience with UKG Ready software is a plus.
