Allied National Services is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll operations and support key HR functions. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in Excel, QuickBooks, and ADP (RUN or Workforce) to contribute to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll with accuracy and attention to detail
Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions
Maintain accurate payroll records and handle all payroll-related transactions
Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal use and compliance
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, as well as company policies
Support various HR functions as needed
Stay informed about industry trends and payroll/HR best practices
Perform other related payroll and HR duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and applicable regulations
Experience with ADP RUN or Workforce Now is required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
