Pediatrics physician job in Washington : Providence Medical Group invites a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Pediatric Surgeon to join an established surgical team at Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital (PSHCH) in Spokane, Washington. Position Summary and Responsibilities: As a General Pediatric Surgeon, you will engage in both inpatient and outpatient care, treating a diverse pediatric patient population. Clinical Collaboration: You will collaborate with an experienced group of three pediatric surgeons and three nurse practitioners/exceptional support staff. Referral Base: Benefit from a robust primary care and pediatric subspecialty referral base, including comprehensive support from services across the busy NICU/PICU, Emergency Department, Hematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Urology, and other subspecialty services Trauma Center: Our pediatric emergency department is the only dedicated children's emergency care and a Level II pediatric trauma center in the region Teaching Opportunities: Participate in teaching opportunities through a newly established pediatric residency and partnerships with Washington State University and the University of Washington Qualifications and Compensation: Experience: All eligible candidates will be considered Certification: Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Surgery Schedule: Enjoy a healthy 1:4 call schedule Benefits: This position includes a comprehensive, standard employee provider benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Malpractice Coverage Compensation is between $633,208 and $772,665 per year The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. The 18-bed emergency department is the only dedicated childrens emergency care and Level II Pediatric trauma center in the inland northwest region. With 37 general, 18 oncology and 20 intensive-care beds available for young patients, this tightly integrated team understands the special physical and emotional needs of children.
