Position Summary: The PermitCoordinator is responsible for comprehensive permit management forLeaf Home. Responsibilities include initial application completion,submission, tracking, and permit closing/conclusion with fulldocumentation history for compliance.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
- Research local municipalities for permitrequirements based on scheduled work type.
- Systematic documentation of municipalitypermit requirements and methods for future reference.
- Coordinate permit compliance based on thesubmission method required.
- Permit execution,submission, payment, monitoring, andconclusion.
- Identify requirements and allapplicable attributes pertinent to current and futurecompliance.
- Foster relationships with localcode officials for clear and efficientcommunication.
- Documentation of allpermit documents, statutes, and follow-up in Leaf Home’s compliancemanagement system.
- Process and manage HOAapprovals.
- May schedule plumbing jobs asneeded.
Experience andMinimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of administrativeexperience.
- Exceptional research, reading, andassessment skills to identify similar terminology and/orrequirements.
- Proficiency using MicrosoftOffice Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/orAccess).
- Must be legally authorized to work inthe country of employment without sponsorship for employment visastatus (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, orCertifications:
- General knowledge of contractor licenses, homeimprovement, and dwelling components.
- Familiarity with local governing entities suchas counties, cities, villages, andtownships.
