*Personal Injury Lawyer for Valley based Law Firm. **Job Summary*DZ Law Firm in McAllen, TX is looking to hire a _personable, aggressive, experienced, and motivated attorney _with Personal Injury experience (including pre-litigation through trial) for Associate Attorney position.The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of practice experience in the areas of Personal Injury law and will handle all aspects of a case from the beginning to end.*Responsibilities: ** Provide excellent customer service to all clients;* Drafting/ Filings Civil Complaints;* Draft/Respond Discovery Request and thorough review of Discovery;* Meet and Confer with counsel on discovery subpoenas, global settlements;* Draft Motions and Prepare Trial documents (MIL's, Exhibit Binders, Joint Trial Documents);* Taking/Defending Depositions;* Appearance at Hearings;* Develop legal strategy and maintain caseload of 70+ cases in pre-litigation/litigation with other supervisory and administrative duties;* Review/Oversee Legal Secretary's work and resolve pending issues;* Training, mentoring, and professional development of administrative staff;* Responsible for case reporting, management, and outcome tracking; using Neos or relevant legal software.* Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications: ** 1-5 years of Texas Personal Injury law practice experience (including trial) preferred.
