Pharmacy Technician I Location: West Chester Township, OH Pay Rate: $19.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (5x8s or 4x10s) Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Safety-Sensitive Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician I to join our pharmacy operations team in West Chester Township, Ohio. The Pharmacy Technician supports the workflow of prescription fulfillment, medication preparation, and inventory management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires an active Ohio Registered Pharmacy Technician license and a strong commitment to quality and safety in every aspect of the job. Key Responsibilities Accurately fill and process patient prescriptions at various workstations including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, cycle fill, and machine packaging. Prepare medications by measuring, mixing, counting, and labeling according to prescription orders. Receive product deliveries, scan medications into the system, pull and stage products for distribution, and coordinate with drivers for delivery. Rotate stock, perform inventory counts, and maintain accurate inventory records. Partner with supervisors and pharmacy staff to coordinate workflow and ensure timely order processing. Scan manifests into the system to confirm deliveries and track medication movement. Support a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (verifiable). Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration/license (required at time of hire). 0–2 years of relevant work experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or related setting. Basic knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a pharmacy or medical fulfillment environment. Familiarity with pharmacy workflow systems and prescription processing technology. Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Work Schedule Hours: Monday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Work schedule may include 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Overtime opportunities available with prior approval.
