Pickering Associates is looking to add another Senior Project Architect to our team of design professionals. If you are looking for a diverse portfolio of project work and enjoy doing different project types each day, this role could be for you! We are looking for a candidate with a strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, while working in a dynamic team environment. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in all design phases and be client centric. This opening is a full-time role located in our Parkersburg office.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan or design all types of structures.
- Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
- Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time.
- Meet with clients to review or discuss architectural drawings.
- Ability to research various codes and communicate impacts with the design team and owner.
- Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs.
- Manage and monitor progress throughout entire design and construction process and review all plans, specs, submittals and shop drawings prepared by vendor, consultants and in-house design team in order to ensure compliance with the design concept and documents.
- Multiple and frequent site visits to review quality of work and assure conformance to design intent
- Capability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well with colleagues in a team environment in order to keep multiple projects on schedule and in budget.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Architectural Licensure (NCARB certification is a plus)
- Minimum 2 years Registered Architectural Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with client interaction and ability to lead a team
Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 (Salary range is negotiable and flexible with generous sign on bonus)
Pickering Associates will help with relocation as needed as well as cover the licenses in any state that the candidate will work.
