Mechanical Piping Journeyman Wanted For Immediate Opening: San Diego Public Works Mechanical Contractor is looking for Journeyman Pipefitter/Plumber, who is well rounded and capable of installing HVAC piping systems on Industrial and Commercial PREVAILING WAGE construction projects. Proficiency in Mechanical Piping is required, and familiarity with HVAC Systems operational functions is a plus. Must provide verifiable previous Industrial / Commercial work references for the past five years to be considered. Residential experience is not applicable. Must be willing to adhere to stringent Safety Guidelines. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation, background check, random drug testing, and will require a current drivers license free of any serious violations. Applicants must have a clean criminal history to be qualified. Projects are currently located in San Diego County, but may on occasion be in neighboring counties.
