Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury law and will be responsible for representing clients in a variety of cases, including slips and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice. The attorney will manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including but not limited to labor law, slips and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations and legal research to establish strong cases for trial.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including depositions, negotiations, and court appearances.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and options.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to strengthen cases.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in NY.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law 
  • Strong understanding of plaintiffs' rights and personal injury litigation.
  • Proven experience in trial preparation and courtroom presentation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including labor law.
