Schaeffler Group -- Plant Purchasing Buyer

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, initiate, coordinate and monitor business relations with dedicated suppliers, in a geographical area and with respect to the locally controlled commodities
  • Support the creation of market analyses and implement category strategies.
  • Create blanket scheduling agreements for Strategic Purchasing
  • Order all material not on scheduling agreement
  • Responsible for purchasing transactions relative to inter-company purchases
  • Maintain purchasing data integrity in SAP
  • Assist Strategic Purchasers in strategic planning and project management

Your Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or relevant experience
  • Strong organiational and problem solving skills
  • ERP experience, preferably SAP
  • MS Office experience in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
