Prep Cook at Aretsky's Patroon

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PREP/COOK (If you know how to cook soups you will get paid more) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes consistently.

This role involves working closely with our Executive Chef and culinary team to execute a seasonal, high-end menu using the finest ingredients and techniques.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations

• Assist in daily prep and mise en place

• Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service

• Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH staff

• Take direction and feedback from the Chef and Sous Chefs

• Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, fine dining setting

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining kitchen

• Strong understanding of culinary techniques, plating, and presentation
