Preschool Substitute Teacher

Touchstone Preschool | A Spring Education Group School

Location: 7090 SW Fir Loop, Portland, OR 97223

Age Group: All Ages (Infants to PreK)

Employment Type: On-Call/Part-Time | On-Site

Hourly Rate: $17-$20 per hour | Based on education and experience

 

Touchstone Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Preschool Substitute to support all classrooms at our premier preschool in the Portland area. What You’ll Do:

As a Preschool Substitute Teacher with Touchstone Preschool, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily classroom operations and ensuring full compliance with state licensing regulations
  • Designing and implementing thoughtful and intentional lessons in a classroom setting that encourage student growth and development.
  • Building meaningful relationships with families and creating a welcoming school culture
  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Awarded High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 750 hours of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to often carry and lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds.
